where would you go?



answers below would be appreciated.. i'm all in a honeymoon whirl! departing end september early october.. can't wait to hear your thoughts.. x

  1. San Miguel, Mexico...Cuttyhunk, Mass if you want to relax and not do much..sail, go to Martha's Vineyard etc. Or Hawaii..I have always wanted to stay at the Onion House at the McCormick Spice plantation..look it up, its gorgeous!

    Don't forget to check the hurricane and monsoon seasons before you get too hooked on going to a place - heard a few honeymoon disaster stories because the couple just went at the wrong time of year.
    Can I suggest Brazil? That time of year isn't high tourist time (ie. not New Year and Carnival so more for your buck) and the weather is warm spring on the coast and before the rains in the Amazon. There are so many beach paradise places but also culture and adventure. You'll get some amazing photos!

  6. We did a roadtrip through the USA which was rad.

    Some other ideas:

    Borneo is also amazing. See the orangutangs

    Russia for somewhere different?

    I second Brazil! So much fun.

    Maybe Turkey- the mediteranean coast is beautiful

    Or come to Australia!

  7. It would be spring time in Australia - a beautiful time to visit. Also, NZ... check out Eagle Nest in the Bay of Islands.

    We went to Nikoi Island for our mini moon last month and it was amazing. You could do a stopover there if you're going to SE Asia. :)
