wellies wedding - just us..

so after the service whist everyone was on their way down the hill to the reception the boy, Chloe and I escaped in my dads landrover to go and have a few pictures together. I took Chloe to one of my favorite fields on the farm.. I have to say I was usless.. you can dress up the farm girl but you can't make her behave in any other way! I came back covered in mud and insisted on opening gates and stomping through the field. trash the dress springs to mind.!

I was so nervous before the wedding about having my picture taken - I love taking them I hate being in them.. for some reason though I felt so relaxed and happy.. I don't know if this was the power of Chloe or Brides prerogative.. it was also lovely to have a little alone time with the boy.. I don't think we talked much - just giggled.

What an amazing job Chloe did honestly she was so sweet and encouraging and insanely professional. we love all these photos and I think I look through them at least once a day. the only thing is I can't decide which one to print out! I think as our kitchen was born due to the generosity of our wedding guests and family we need to have a picture from our wedding in there.. just which one!

also a big thank you has to go to my cousin Tessa - the flowers were just amazing and everything I wished for.. I'm currently building her a website which should have a holding page up soon so you can see what else she's been up too.

  1. While all of your pictures are AMAZING! and the flowers are gorgeous too, I would pick the photo of your two shoes standing side by side. It will never be dated and it will always remind you of your future together and where you want to go together every time you are in the kitchen!

  2. I love these pictures! The one of you looking over your husband's shoulder is stunning. The two of you are adorable!

Hell, I'd have the black and white one of you two looking into the distance in MY kitchen. Although maybe that would be a bit weird!x

  3. Love these photos and remember that time alone after the rush of the ceremony.

Think my favourite is the one of you on the gate in the first one you don't look too secure.

  6. I also like the one of you both with your backs to the camera and looking into the distance, but then a big part of me thinks go for one in colour because all the amazingly vivid colours are so fabulous! They are all wonderful pictures though, let us know which you go for in the end.

  13. Of all the blogged weddings I have seen, this is by far the most beautiful. So stunning. The flowers are magnificent! And your dress...sorry I have to ask; who is the designer? If I had one, I'd wear it every day. And don't get me started on the the pink tutu - adorable. Congratualtions to you both!
