addiction

so am trying to sort out my wedding blog addiction by looking at more interior blogs.. kinda working but can't seem to stop my habit for the old classics - once wed etc.. any other ex bride out there doing the same..? anyway I have found this blog recently which I love the brick house.. beautiful photos, great taste and a cute dog! think we should get dave a sheepskin rug.. looks cosy!

sorry not been around - had some very annoying news at work that has knocked us a bit.. feeling very tired and down - which is how I always feel in January! hey ho after tomorrow could all be over and done with. need to pick up my camera and get lost for a while this weekend.

  1. Ha! You're not alone. I'm still addicted too, although also trying to wean myself onto other succour. I am resting my tootsies on a sheepskin rug as I write - a brown hebridean, we got him from Skye Skyns on our honeymoon, you should check them out (and you can machine wash them!) x

  2. Hey hun, don't be down, just do what I'm going to do from now on when I'm down and that's watch your wedding video! (That might not help with the addiction issue though eh!) have to mention it though as I'm not usually a 'weddings' kinda gal but you mentioned weddings and I thought I'd have a quick look at the video, I could not take the smile of my face, what complete perfection! So lovely to see all that happiness aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh so so lovely!!!
I hope whatever it is at work gets sorted out. Enjoy taking your photos at the weekend x

  4. I got married almost 3 years ago and wasn't yet into blogging at the time and I always think if only I had known about all the wedding blogs out there I would have done my wedding so differently. It was still beautiful but I could have had some amazing handmade things included which just aren't seen in your typical wedding magazines. So addiction to wedding blogs is a good thing in my eyes, you'll end up making your day so special and inspiring!

  5. Ugh January gets me down too. Thanks for the link to that blog though, looks great, and it is definitely the snapshots into other people's lives that blogs provide that keep me going when it is grey and dismal outside. Hope things get better at work soon!

  6. I too got married 3 and half years ago and am still addicted to wedding blogs. At least I have an excuse as my husband is a wedding photographer and I convince myself that I search for ideas that might be helpful to him...

  7. Hi Wellies and Vogue. I'm really enjoying your link to 'The Brick House' blog, its stylish and captivating in a way that only SoCal can be...everything bathed in brilliant sunshine etc. Another one to add to my list of favorites. Thanks

  8. Oh no I got over my wedding blog addiction before we even got married. Once the key decisions were made I couldn't cope with seeing anything else in case I changed my mind.
I still love all my lovely 'people' who are getting married or have been married though.
