local

sometimes a local pub is all you need to make you happy.. the boy, dave and i spontaneously had dinner there last night.. we sat by a fire chatting to our favourite staff and eating the yummiest burger and fish n chips - how more british could we get.. we really don't make the most of our local.. do you..?

  1. i miss a local! when we lived in sydney for 10yrs we had a brilliant local call "the four in hand"...if i were to visit it today i would feel like i have come home, they do great bistro style food. brisbane lacks good rustic pubs...we have pubs but they are massive, serve obscenely enormous steaks (cause the more on your plate the better they think) & to be honest the pubs nearby me are a little souless...your local looks lovely - esp the cute little pitcher of red wine! have a good weekend. dayle

  2. I am obsessed with my local. The food is so good, way better than most posh restaurants I've been in. I love evenings like this, just sitting by the fire with my boy, a glass of red and a good meal. Perfection!

  3. Coulden't agree more. And pub food is restaurant standards with a relaxed vibe. We done the same last night...but six senior managers walked into our local even though they live 10 miles away. Very strange. Happy Weekend x

  4. We don't really... but maybe that's because last time I went to our local I got absolutely sloshed on three small glasses of wine and don't remember getting home! Oh the cctv footage must be priceless! ;)
