  1. Hello! I have just discovered your blog and it is truly beautiful. I was watching your wedding film earlier and my 2 sons came and watched it too... they wanted to know if they could go there to that party! Ahhh they know a good wedding when they see it.. (p.s. they are 3 and 5!). lou x

  2. Is the Crimson Petal and the White any good? Am just finishing reading the book and don't want to be totally disappointed. x

  3. I really enjoyed it - BUT haven't read the book!

It's quite full on and I'm not sure which of the characters your meant to sympathies with.. in the program I kinda went from one to the other.. It's beautifully filmed and I really enjoyed watching a darker based period drama rather than the rose petaled ones you can sometimes see..

is the book good..? there never any good if you've read the book! Harry Potter, Jane Eyre and memoir of a Geisha to name only a small few!

  4. The book is really good actually. A bit of a thick one, it has like 800 pages, I was a tad dubious at the start but it is really good and I would say give it a go.

And after all your positive comments about the drama, I am so going to have to watch it!

And you are so right about the film book conundrum. I feel I should read the book first but it always leaves me bored in the films.
