lunch & a easter egg hunt

so how many years has it been since i've witnessed an easter egg hunt..! especially one so magical.. with playing with my camera I've been wanting to get a bit better at portrait shots and as this was the perfect opportunity I got a snapping.. i'm really pleased with some of them and think i've just about managed to capture the pure joy of finding an easter egg left by the easter bunny.. unfortunately a few eggs had gone a stay so some of the kids had to give up one of their eggs and pass it on to someone else.. naughty easter bunny hiding them too well!

tomorrow i'll finish this easter off.. told you it was epic!

  2. Oh wow... this totally looks like a wedding with eggs! I especially love that 3rd last shot - so secret gardeny! The kids' faces with their eggs are brilliant too :)

  4. This is gorgeous! What a perfect place for an egg hunt! Your pictures are beautiful - the little boy on the tractor with his mischievous grin, the girl in the flowery dress looking furtively as though someone might steal her treasure at any moment, the focus on the two eggs held out by the boy in the blue top and the running dive by the one in the checked shirt, as he spots something in the bushes - all such wonderful moments captured! A joy to see. Xx

  7. Hey Amber.. These were all taken with our Nikon D3 with a 50mm 1.4 prime lens.. the lens has done us really well and you can get great dept of field with it.. to be honest it's the reason I started the blog, had all these arty photos and facebook just wasn't going to cut the mustard!

thanks for the love heart too.. soo pretty!
