eeeee

it's getting so close to Christmas I'm now getting really excited..

Had a lovely weekend in London with friends.. we had a bonfire bbq in freezing conditions, a visit to the Tate modern with mum to see Gerhard Richter's amazing exhibition (go, go, go closes on the 8th Jan and really worth a visit) we shopped till we dropped, sat in our friends new car, ate far to much in a pub for lunch, drank mulled wine, chilled with TV and wine, brought a chritsmas tree, cried at Black Beauty, ate two kebabs, sang carols whilst putting up the christmas tree and got to cuddle a puppy.. amazing times!

this week it going to be full on with ticking stuff off the work list - as well as crazy last minute present shopping.. we still have so much left to get.. arrhhhhh.. should be good though and come the weekend I can engulf myself in all things chirstmas and finally get my TREE! yay!

right now back to work - remember you still have till midnight on wednesday to enter the giveaway.. I was wearing one of Kathryn Hagues pieces this weekend in citrine.. and you guys could win one yourselves.. whoop whoop - right must work!

  2. Sounds like a busy weekend you had there. I'm having a short getaway to London for four day between Xmas and New Year (we are leaving child behind for a bit of romance!) so I'll include that exhibit on my 'to do' list. Bon courage with all your work this week. I've also got loads of Xmas shopping to do, argh. But I can't face the shops - way too many people. Amazon, here I come!

  3. oh do go Franglaise - I walked from Covent Garden to the Tate modern - which is one of my favourite walks across waterloo bridge and along the river.. I am not allowing myself anymore shops - think mine will be an amazon order as well!

  4. I finished my 'Mall Madness' shopping yesterday...so anything else that's needed now will be bought from the internet. Don't you just love it?
All the stress, aching feet, cramped aisles, bag bashing etc...ahh....I can sit with a cuppa and browse in comfort.

Good luck with your schedule this week....I'm off to dress my tree. Its been standing in its nakey for long enough...lets party! ;D

  6. Enjoy! I don't get to pick a Christmas tree this year since we are travelling abroad to visit family in Africa. Luckily they are mad fans of all things festive too!! Blessings :-)
